'Science on the Edge' lecture explores health care of the future
Abstract:
Discover amazing advances in health care being developed in Rochester as the Rochester Museum and Science Center's Science on the Edge Lecture Series continues Jan. 20 with "Smart Bandages and Fast Diagnostics: New Tools for a Personalized Medical Future" presented by Benjamin L. Miller, Ph.D. Miller is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
In his presentation Dr. Miller will describe ongoing research in his UR laboratory toward developing nanotechnology-based molecular detection systems, with applications from cancer diagnosis to monitoring infectious disease.
