Whitesboro may offer nanotech course in '10
Abstract:
The Whitesboro Central School District has a clear vision of how a nanotechnology course would be taught after seeing the class in action at Ballston Spa Senior High School, officials said Tuesday at a Board of Education meeting.
If all goes well, officials said they can envision a 20-week elective course being in place by next September.
"We've been fuzzy until that visit last week," Whitesboro High School Principal Jeffrey Kuhn said of the trip made Wednesday, Sept. 30, to the Saratoga County school district not far from where Advanced Micro Devices is building a computer-chip fabrication plant. "I don't think we're fuzzy anymore."
