Ener1, Inc. (Nasdaq: HEV), developer and manufacturer of advanced lithium-ion batteries to power the next generation of hybrid and electric vehicles, will release its first quarter results for 2009 on Monday, May 11, 2009 after the market close. Management will conduct a conference call on the same day at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, to discuss the company's results and strategic outlook for 2009.
The call is being webcast by Thomson Financial and can be accessed on the home page of Ener1's website at www.ener1.com.

In addition to battery technology, Ener1 develops commercial fuel cell products through its EnerFuel subsidiary and nanotechnology-based materials and manufacturing processes for batteries and other applications through its NanoEner subsidiary.
