Industrial Nanotech, Inc. Announces Campaign to Introduce their Energy Saving Technology to State Governors

NAPLES, FL | Posted on March 9th, 2009

"Based upon the new American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and in agreement with President Obama's initiative to become a more energy efficient nation, many states are examining ways to meet the challenge," stated Francesca Crolley, V.P. Operations & Marketing, Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "Our Nansulate nanotechnology based coatings provide a very affordable way for increasing the thermal insulation value of homes and buildings and significantly reducing energy costs. Nansulate has been mentioned in nanotechnology reports by the governments of the UK and Australia, and has provided energy savings for industrial facilities, public and commercial buildings, manufacturing facilities and homes worldwide for over 5 years now. We agree with the EPA's 2007 Nanotechnology White Paper that adoption of new technologies is vital to the success of meeting energy reduction goals, and our technology is one that addresses that call. We feel a responsibility to make those in government aware of the unique benefits and immediate cost savings that our coatings can provide them, which has spurred us to take a step forward and contact each and every governor, and invite our supporters - 'NanoPioneers' - to join us in this initiative, through video and social network interaction. We can make a real difference in reduction of reliance on fossil fuels and more importantly in real and immediate cost savings on energy, and we feel governors will find that information vital and very significant."

Mrs. Crolley continues, "Our shareholders and customers are joining us in this campaign, writing their governors and urging them to use Nansulate to help save energy and lower energy expenses, an important component of reviving the fiscal health of the states. It is this kind of effort and ingenuity that, if done by every company with a technology that presents a value added proposition to the country, can change the direction of the current fiscal state of affairs."

Nansulate® is a line of patented specialty coatings based upon nanotechnology which are environmentally safe, water-based, and low VOC. Nansulate® has performance qualities of thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, resistance to mold growth and lead encapsulation. They are clear, easily applied like a paint, and provide effective reduction of energy use. Customers typically report energy savings seen between 20%-40%, depending upon application, and independent third party testing, using the international testing protocol UNI EN ISO 8990:1999 standard "Standard Test Method for Steady-State Thermal Performance of Building Assemblies", has shown that the coating can block thermal flow through a wall by 34.8%. Additionally the coating is resistant to mold and fungus growth, without the use of any potentially harmful biocides.
