Neb. school wins grant for nanotechnology work

Abstract:
Thanks to an $8.1 million grant, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln can continue its nanotechnology research through 2014.

The newly awarded National Science Foundation grant will support the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center and its research initiatives.

The center is 1 of 26 Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers in the nation.

The grant underwrites the interdisciplinary research at the center, which was established in 2002 with a $5.4 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
