Ecology Coatings Founder Discusses the Company's Cleantech Coating Technology for Inhibiting Toxic Black Mold on Wallboard

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI | Posted on June 2nd, 2008

Ecology Coatings, Inc. (OTCBB: ECOC), a leader in the discovery and development of ultra-violet curable, clean technology advanced materials, today announced that Sally Ramsey, the company's founder and Vice President of New Product Development, is speaking at the CTSI Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Conference being held June 1 - 5, 2008 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA.

Ms. Ramsey will be presenting Tuesday, June 3 at 10:50 A.M. at which time she will discuss Ecology's new nanotechnology-enabled process utilizing UV-curable coatings that resist the growth of stachybotrys chartarum (toxic black mold) on wallboard without the addition of anti-fungals.

In addition to her presentation, Ms. Ramsey will have available at the Global Technology Innovation Showcase and Reception copies of a study recently performed by a major international research university, which confirms that Ecology Coatings' clean technology paper coatings completely inhibit the growth of toxic black mold on wallboard. Conclusions presented in the study are based on the advanced testing methods employed by the university's researchers.

The wallboard market, with annual global revenues in excess of $6 billion, is an important target market in Ecology Coatings' commercialization strategy. The company currently is identifying manufacturers who would stand to benefit significantly from this one-of-a-kind technology.
