Schools propose N.C. nanotechnology center

Abstract:
Several research universities are working to build support for a center to study medicine on an atomic and molecular basis.

Organizers plan meetings this summer and fall in Charlotte, the Triad, the Triangle and eastern North Carolina to build support for the North Carolina Translational NanoMedicine Institute.

Nanotechnology is the science of developing materials at the atomic and molecular level and using them to develop products and devices.
