Home > Press > NanoBusiness Alliance Returns to NYC for Seventh Annual NanoBusiness Conference, May 4-6, 2008; Focused on the Business of Nanotechnology
Abstract:
The NanoBusiness Alliance today announced that its seventh annual NanoBusiness 2008 Conference and Exhibition will be returning to the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York City from May 4-6, 2008. Complete event information can be found online at www.nanobusiness2008.com.
NanoBusiness 2008 is expected to attract hundreds of business leaders, investors, venture capitalists, scientists, engineers, and government officials. The visionaries who are driving the nanotechnology revolution will participate in over three days of comprehensive corporate presentations, in-depth panels, executive keynotes, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.
This year's event also reflects the tremendous growth in the nanotechnology space, as there will be over 100 nanotech companies participating in the NanoBusiness 2008, in contrast to merely 20 when the conference launched in 2002.
On opening day, NanoBusiness 2008 will focus on the business of nanotechnology, with public and private companies making presentations to Wall Street professionals. On day two, the conference shines a spotlight on major issues such as public policy, patent reform, and environmental, health and safety issues.
"During our seven years of running conferences, the NanoBusiness Alliance has seen a significant maturing of the industry," said Vincent Caprio, Executive Director, NY NanoBusiness Alliance and Event Director. "No longer limited to the discussions of what the future might look like, NanoBusiness 2008 will present an up-to-the minute view of the companies, products, and technologies that are making money today. In fact, CleanTech and GreenTech are the commercialization of Nanotechnology."
