Abstract:
The official said the delegation was prepared "to consider the issue of mutual interest," adding that in recent years, Hong Kong had developed infrastructure in terms of high technology, namely biotechnology and nanotechnology. One example of the concentration on the "emerging industries" was Hong Kong's science park that was now in phase two. Pescod noted that Hong Kong had one of the highest percentages of population access to the Internet and computers, as well as the highest per capita number of mobile phones in the world.
