NHIRC grants for research contribute $500,000
Abstract:
The New Hampshire Innovation Research Center, which is affiliated with the University of New Hampshire, said it awarded eight grants worth more than $506,000 for research partnerships between New Hampshire firms and scientists and engineers at the University of New Hampshire and Dartmouth College.
The names of the participating companies have not been released, pending signed contracts, but the NHIRC said the four project areas for the research are medical device/technologies; sensor technology; nanotech/polymers; environmental data sensing/imaging.
