Story of the day - Hungarian-Russian PMs meet in Budapest

Abstract:
Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany and his Russian counterpart Viktor Zubkov met on Friday at the start of intergovernmental consultation talks being held in Budapest. Energy issues and economic co-operation are expected to be the highlighted topics during the talks, including the issue of Hungarian gas imports. Budapest, December 7 (MTI) - Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany and his Russian counterpart Viktor Zubkov met on Friday at the start of intergovernmental consultation talks being held in Budapest. Energy issues and economic co-operation are expected to be the highlighted topics during the talks, including the issue of Hungarian gas imports.

The intergovernmental consultation will cover setting up a permanent education mixed committee, co-operation in nanotechnology and the operation of a logistics centre in Zahony in northeast Hungary.
