CNR Rao conferred Nano National Award
Leading scientist Professor C N R Rao was conferred the Nano National Award as India's first nano event--Bangalore Nano, began here on Thursday.
"Nano is the next big excitement in the field of science and technology", Rao, who was conferred the award by the Karnataka Governor, H E Rameshwar Thakur at the inaugural function, said during his keynote address.
"However, we are short of young talent and technical expertise which was one of the biggest challenges facing the country, keen in joining the nano race," he said.
