Brain power drives Smart State

Abstract:
For those Queenslanders who ask what is the benefit to Queensland, the answer is simple: Not only will this research produce life-saving treatments, it will also create up to 1000 jobs and $400 million will be added to the Queensland economy in the IMB's first 15 years of operation. The IMB will work with other scientists at the university in areas of research into nanotechnology, bioengineering and the brain.
