mPhase to Present at Global Equities Conference in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV | Posted on October 15th, 2007

mPhase Technologies (OTCBB: XDSL.OB), a technology company with subsidiaries focused on a green smart nanobattery which provides power on command, AlwaysReady, Inc., and a targeted advertising media company, Granita Media, Inc., today announced that its CEO, Ronald A. Durando will present at Friedland Investment Events' Global Equities Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Rio Suites Hotel and Casino after Altair NanoTechnologies (NASDAQ: ALTI ) at 11:52am PDT on Tuesday October 16, 2007.

The presentation will focus on recent advancements made by its 100% wholly-owned subsidiary AlwaysReady Inc. in its green smart nanobattery which is being tested by the United States Army under the most strenuous conditions.

The battery offers a revolutionary approach to energy storage and power management for electronic devices. Its unique architecture enables key features including a shelf life of decades, remote activation, scalable manufacturing, multiple configurations, environmentally-friendly, and precise power management capabilities, making it ideal for placing batteries in bullets for guidance capability and unattended ground sensors.

It is anticipated that the initial applications for nano power cells will address the need to supply emergency and reserve power "on command" to a broad range of products for the defense department, with future applications in the commercial and consumer arenas.

This year the US Army awarded AlwaysReady a $100,000 six-month contract under its Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR) for research on a long life, low power, multi-cell battery to power computer memory chips that need to be activated for mission critical data up to 30 years from now. It has also entered into a US Army Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Picatinny Arsenal for smart munitions and is working with Rutgers University Energy Storage Research Group to commercialize the battery.
