UB nanotech gets a lift

Abstract:
The University at Buffalo has boosted its nanotechnology research staff with help from a state grant.

UB received the $750,000 grant through the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) specifically for recruitment efforts.

Gottfried Strasser, who joined the faculty in September, will hold a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and in the Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences.
