Workshop: Nanomaterials and gender aspects in research and technology
Abstract:
A workshop on nanomaterials and gender aspects in research and technology will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 18 and 19 October.
The workshop is offering presentations on nanomaterials (funding situation, current applications) and male/female perspectives on research and career development in industry and university. Among the speakers are Ulf Mellström (Professor of Gender and Technology at Luleå Technical University) and Tatiana Butovitsch Temm, who will tell the story of Volvo's concept car, in which all decisions were made by women.
