Luxtera Named as Finalist for the San Diego AeA High Tech Awards

Abstract:
Luxtera Inc., the world leader in CMOS Photonics, today announced it is a finalist for the 2007 San Diego AeA High Tech Award. Chosen for its breakthrough technology in CMOS photonics, Luxtera is the first company to successfully overcome the complex technical obstacles involved with integrating high-performance optics directly with silicon electronics on a monolithic CMOS chip, which resulted in the world's first commercial CMOS Photonics product.
