Nutracon brings unique business insights into emerging markets and new global survey results…..Russia, Turkey, Poland and more…

Europe | Posted on June 9th, 2007

Opening the first day will be initial results of an unprecedented world wide survey aimed at measuring the world's nutrition market and identifying new trends. Organised by the Nutrition Business Journal (NBJ) with the assistance of the International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplement Associations (IADSA), the online survey collates national and regional data, secondary sources, company data and other sources. While the focus is mainly on dietary supplements, companies involved in functional food, natural/organic food, natural personal care and ingredient supply have also been encouraged to participate.

In the emerging markets session Gregory Temkin, President of Rossstandard will provide hitherto unheard advice on how to operate within the red tape and bureaucratic confines of Russian governmental organizations. He will provide an overview of the Russian nutraceuticals market and detailed insights into the regulatory structure and procedures. In particular he will provide advice on the registration procedures for non-Russian products - including do's and don'ts, pitfalls and the institutional merry-go-rounds!

Gregory will be joined in this session by Hüseyin Ütebay, Vice President of BesDesDer & CEO, Solgar Vitamin, who will give in-depth insights into the opportunities in the Turkish market, and Monika Stefanczyk, a Pharmaceutical Market Analyst who will reveal the potential in Poland.

Over the two days twenty two of the world's leading experts in the supplements, beauty and technology sectors will address the two-day Nutracon Europe conference to be held at One Whitehall Place/The Royal Horseguards Hotel in central London on the 14th-15th June 2007. It's format will provides a platform for debate and there will be plenty of time for networking.

Other notable topics include: developments & opportunities in Germany & France, supply chain management and the Chinese market, sports nutrition and supplements - growth & market trends, testing & certification, doping issues, innovations and business opportunities, Nutrigenomics and Nanotechnology.
