"Clean technologies are rapidly maturing from lab to marketplace. The Cleantech Early Stage Company Review provides an ideal forum for seed to early stage companies to showcase their technologies, market advantages, and to search for funding," said Matthew Laudon, Executive Director of TechConnect.org. "Companies are given 10 minutes to present and will have on-site feedback from Cleantech Ventures Vetting Team. This year's Vetting team includes representatives from such firms as: IBM, Intel Capital, Mohr-Davidow Ventures, DuPont Ventures, Motorola Investments, Atlas Ventures, X Seed Capital, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Quantum Insight, 3i, UBS, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson."
The goal of the Early Stage funding and partnering event is to unite early stage clean technology companies with industrial users, funding sources, technology providers and the media and analysts community. This is the ideal forum for both investment interests and corporate business development opportunities. This venue will be used to promote the commercial maturation across the cleantech landscape, globally from technology to products.
The format is a fast-paced event consisting of a 10-minute briefing covering the products, target customers and business/licensing model for the presenting company. This will be followed by a short review from members of the panel including Q & A. Further one-on-one networking and business development discussions are held in preset meeting areas.
