Lux Research expands with new European office

Amsterdam, Netherlands | Posted on March 14th, 2007

"Since inception, Lux Research has worked intimately with our global clients to help them profit from innovation in physical sciences," said Lux Research CEO Peter Hebert. "For the rapidly growing group of European chemicals, electronics, and life sciences companies we work with, local support has become essential. Raymond brings rich experience in helping large corporations spot the business opportunities that new technologies bring, and his support will be extremely valuable to Lux Research clients."

Before joining Lux Research, Raymond was the regional sales manager for Forrester Research Benelux, where he developed long-term strategic advisory relationships with leading multinational corporations in northern Europe. Earlier in his career, Raymond was part of the founding team at Media Plaza, a pioneering Internet Demonstration Center, in 1997, serving as part of the organization's leadership team. There, he educated Dutch executives on the advent of the Internet (1997/98), the rise of eCommerce (1998/99), and the business implications of eBusiness (1999/01). Raymond studied Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (C.K.I.) and Philosophy at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, where his primary focus was on human/computer interaction.

As part of its business expansion, Lux Research continues to seek qualified candidates for Senior Analyst and Analyst positions to support its client relationships. Smart, articulate, driven, and opinionated individuals who are enthusiastic about emerging technologies are encouraged to apply.
