International Conference on Nanotechnology
Abstract:
TAPPI and the Forest Products Society will host the 2007 International Conference on Nanotechnology for the Forest Products Industry during June 13-15, 2007. The conference will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. A few years ago, the science of nanotechnology was merely topic for speculation. Today, nanotechnology is moving out of the lab in the form of real-world process and product applications in areas such as packaging, coating, and biorefinery. TAPPI's inaugural conference on nanotechnology in 2006 was a huge success. Since then, the rapid growth of research into nanotechnology for the forest products industry has resulted in the creation of exciting new products.
