Abstract:
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) invites to a half-day Nanotechnology Symposium on March 8, 2007 in Sacramento, CA.
This symposium will introduce attendees to the basic concepts of nanotechnology, describe the application of nanotechnology by industry, and provide an overview on the potential benefits and risks associated with this technology. The symposium will feature some of the leading nanotechnology experts in the United States including Dr. Andrew Maynard, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Dr. Andre Nel, University of California Los Angeles, and speakers from industry and the U.S. EPA.
