Abstract:
Eric Berger: Mauro Ferrari made his public debut in Houston last night, giving a lecture at a Rice Alliance forum that nicely set out his vision for the near future of medicine.
Who is Ferrari, and why care what he thinks? As I wrote earlier this year, he has been hired to marshal nanotechnology and medical resources in the greater Houston area to generate ideas and technologies, and put them on the path toward commercialization. What does that mean? Let me try to explain.
