78,993 premises checked since fuel price hike
Abstract:
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry checked 78,993 business premises in a month since the fuel price increase on Feb 28 to monitor prices of goods, the Dewan Rakyat was told Thursday. Shafie said his Ministry was using the nanotechnology method using the DNA formula to detect the distribution locations of subsidised diesel.
(Ed.'s note: Huh?! If anyone has a clue what they're talking about - the "nanotechnology method using the DNA formula" - I'd appreciate hearing about it.)
