Calif. tech sector sees signs of comeback

Abstract:
Only recently left for dead on the global battlefield, the San Francisco Bay Area's tech sector appears to have returned fully armed for the combat of the future. A relentless appetite for consumer electronics gear and services, coupled with the merging of software with both biotech and nanotech products, is at the heart of the new optimism.
