Sunny future for nanocrystal solar cells

Abstract:
Researchers with DOE's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) have developed the first ultra-thin solar cells comprised entirely of nanocrystals made from two semiconductors, cadmium-selenide and cadmium-telluride.
