Abstract:
Nanotechnology — a collective term for a set of technologies, techniques and processes that manipulate matter at the molecular or atomic scale — had been identified as one of the key “transformational” technologies that would enable Ireland to become a knowledge-based economy and promised to “deliver huge benefits for socio-economic development,” said Martin.
