If you brand it, they may come

Abstract:
He said the Capital Region should brand itself as a center for nanotechnology even though other technologies are being developed here. The region has a growing reputation in that sector, with the University at Albany, Russell Sage College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute all involved in nanotechnology ventures funded with state and federal money. And IBM Corp. has invested heavily in a semiconductor research center at UAlbany's Albany NanoTech complex.
