Hitachi Aims for 1 TB Hard Drive

Abstract:
Not content with reaching the 500 GB mark, Hitachi has announced plans to release drives based on a technology that may pave the way to 1 terabyte desktop models and stave off the limits that may soon start to hamper traditional magnetic storage.
