Key areas of Indian nanoscience at par with West
Abstract:
In what could be taken as the ‘official declaration’ of the coming of age of nanotechnology in the country, the first National Conference in Nanoscience and Technology has found India to be at par with the West in the areas of chemical synthesis and characterisation techniques (using and installing special equipment). These are prerequisites for taking the next big step of converting expertise into practically viable products.
