US panel rejects Advanced Magnetics imaging tool

Abstract:
A U.S. advisory panel voted 15-4 on Thursday against recommending approval of Advanced Magnetics Inc.'s Combidex, an imaging agent designed to help diagnose the spread of cancer.

(Combidex - iron oxide nanoparticles for use in conjunction with MRI)
