Nanotech startup nears product launch

By this summer, QuarTek should roll out its first products: microscopic magnetized particles that can be used for tiny security devices that can detect motion or temperature changes. Sawafta also plans to use the magnetized particles in magnetic resonance imaging machines as well as devices to detect diseases in food.
