Engineering on a new high this century

Abstract:
"This century is, however, 'Century of Small', which will witness creation of technologies, like 'nanotechnology' enabling products to be lighter, stronger, cleaner, less expensive and more precise. We will witness a world where manipulation of atoms and molecules will lead to the creation of new devices. A part of bio-engineering is about understanding proteins and genes, where bio-engineers can create an impact on human health and quality of life. Large corporations, here, will continue to play a big role in funding research projects for developing new technologies," added Magnanti.
