Governor to focus on economy

Abstract:
A year ago, Gov. Jennifer Granholm unrolled a seven-point plan aimed at making Michigan "the economic powerhouse state of the 21st century."

Diversifying the economy and moving it to where the best 21st century jobs are, through more investment in nanotechnology, automotive technology and life sciences.
