Upbeat but watchful
Abstract:
Kevin O'Connor is optimistic about doing business in the Capital Region. If the high-tech boom turns out to be as loud as predicted, companies will be moving here, creating a new pool of customers for O'Connor's telecommunications company.
"I think our area is doing well," said Jean-Claude Simille, owner of Jean Paul Spa and Hair Salons. "It's better than it has been in a while, mostly because of the nanotechnology and things like that happening."
