NanoDynamics, a leading nanotechnology
organization and manufacturer of superior nanomaterials, announced
today that President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Berger was
elected to the Board of Directors for the Advanced Materials
Particulate Association (APMA). The APMA is a leading trade
association that represents the business interests of the Powder Metal
(P/M) advanced materials community. Mr. Berger's appointment expands
the Board to six members and he will serve a three-year term.
The APMA Board of Directors meet twice a year in an effort to
improve and promote the technologies involved in the production and
application of products utilizing metal powders and advanced
particulate materials in their manufacture. This is accomplished by
the collection and dissemination of statistical information;
development of standards; safety; consumer education and technology
transfer.

Mr. Berger has extensive experience in advanced materials and has
managed the operations of a number of different manufacturing
companies, ranging from an advanced materials company to the largest
Coca Cola bottling company in the world. Additionally, Mr. Berger has
extensive industrial experience including working with TAM Ceramics,
Spaulding Composites, and Advanced Refractory Technologies, Inc. Over
the course of his industry career, Mr. Berger has developed numerous
customer and supplier relationships around the globe, including
extensive experience in Europe, China, the Former Soviet Union, Japan,
Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
