A fascinating journey into the nanocosmos

Abstract:
Nanotechnology will fundamentally change our lives. It has long since ceased to be a utopian vision, and is now increasingly becoming an everyday part of our lives. Bayer researchers are also entering tiny worlds which are invisible to the naked eye. The title story in the recently published fifteenth edition of research, the Bayer Scientific Magazine, describes the opportunities that nanotechnology will create for man and illustrates where the journey into the nanocosmos could take us.
