Zyvex finding nanotech to be a viable business
Abstract:
Founded in 1997, Zyvex didn't start generating revenue until 2001, and only $150,000 that year. But Chief Financial Officer Tim Gilmore reports the company's sales grew to $1.2 million in 2002 and $4.5 million last year. Executives expect Zyvex to clock between $8 million and $10 million in sales this year. Just as importantly, Gilmore projects the company will hit cash-flow break-even in the fourth quarter of 2005 and become bottom-line profitable in 2006.
