Assess nanotech risk wisely

Abstract:
Terence Corcoran's June 22 article "The Next Big Scare" makes a case for the real danger of nanotechnology: the over-dramatization of nanotechnology risks based on sensational claims that have not been properly validated. Humankind has benefited tremendously from scientific advancements, as evidenced by people living longer and with a better quality of life than our ancestors. Nanotechnology offers even greater progress in multiple areas.
