Samsung serves up nanotechnology
Abstract:
Samsung is banking on "cleaner living" to sell more refrigerators, washing machines, and airconditioners. The South Korean consumer electronics giant yesterday rolled out home appliances coated with nano-silver - a compound that destroys and prevents the spread of bacteria, company officials said. "We are using nanotechnology to keep our food fresh and pure, our clothes germs-free, and our air clean," said sales specialist Ricky Feng.
