Abstract:
The United States risks losing its position as the global leader in nanotechnology unless the field gets more funding, more scholars and better partnerships between universities and businesses, experts said Friday. Leaders in the exploding field testified before two members of the U.S. House Committee on Science at the University of North Texas in Denton. Their comments come on the heels of President Bush's signing of the $3.7 billion 21st Century Nanotechnology Research and Development Act on Wednesday.
