State semiconductor scene changing

Abstract:
Arizona's semiconductor industry could look quite different in years to come. Research and development and emerging markets ranging from wireless devices to nanotechnology could well take key places alongside the traditional computer-chip manufacturing, experts say. Optics, biotechnology and nanotechnology are all high-tech segments that need facilities and skills like those of the semiconductor industry.
