Abstract:
Business group IBEC's Irish Clothing and Textiles Alliance, or ICATA, is working with the sector to raise awareness of the potential for innovation in textiles. It says the application of nanotechnology in the sector could create much needed opportunities for Irish textile companies, which have haemorrhaged jobs to lower cost economies in recent years.
