NanoMagnetics Instruments

NanoMagnetics Instruments has been established in Oxford, UK in 1998 to develop Scanning Hall Probe Microscopes (SHPM) for room temperature applications. The SHPM offers quantitative and non-invasive magnetic imaging with high resolution, down to 50nm & 6nT /√Hz.
After our first product, Room Temperature Scanning Hall Probe Microscope(RT-SHPM) , we launched our Low Temperature Scanning Hall Probe Microscope (LT-SHPM/SPM) in 2001. By changing sensors, you can use these microscopes as quartz crystal AFM & STM. Our low temperature Scanning Probe Microscopes (LT-SPM) are compatible with most of the cryostats (including PPMS), He3 systems and Dilution Refrigerator systems in a wide temperature range 30mK-300K.
In 2005, following the market needs, we launched our Low Temperature Magnetic/Atomic Force Microscope (LT-MFM/AFM) for high resolution magnetic/topografic imaging, achieving sub-10nm magnetic resolution. Our LT-MFM/AFM design utilises a fiber interferometer cantilever detection technique with alignment free silicon cantilevers. All AFM modes: EFM, Scanning Spreading Resistance, Piezoresponse Force Microscopy, contact mode AFM etc. are available with these microscopes in the 30mK-300K temperature range.
In 2008 we introduced the High Resolution Ambient MFM/AFM achieving sub-10nm magnetic resolution in air!
In July 2010 we introduced the AQUA nc-AFM, the first commercial non-contact Atomic Force Microscope in the world, achieving atomic resolution on mica in water using non-contact mode operation with a digital PLL.
In 2012 we introduced ezAFM. A low cost atomic force microscope, starting from $15000
