Research in Biophysics, Molecular Electronics and Condensed Matter Physics.

The Lindsay Lab at Arizona State University carries out research in biological physics. We are interested in how genes work, and would like to study the way in which proteins change DNA structure to switch genes on and off. We are also interested in the chemistry and physics of the liquid-solid interface, and are trying to understand electrochemical and charge transfer processes at the single-molecule level. To carry out our experiments, we work at building specialized scanning probe microscopes in collaboration with our industry partner, Molecular Imaging Corporation.
