Nanocyl was established in 2002 with the goal of becoming the leading global manufacturer of specialty and industrial carbon nanotubes. Today Nanocyl is one of the key players in its industry with an industrial production capacity of 40 tonnes per year. Further capacity increase is planned to meet the growing customer demand. Nanocyl is investing in production equipment, laboratories and process development at its facility in order to supply commercial quantities of carbon nanotubes.
The purpose of Nanocyl is to develop new business for the supply of specialty carbon nanotubes and to be the leader in carbon nanotubes production and continuously develop innovative applications based on an existing and expanding portfolio of intellectual property.

Nanocyl is ISO-certified and employs some 30 people with offices in Belgium and the United States. The US commercial subsidiary was opened in 2006. The Asia-Pacific market is covered through a network of partners in South Korea, Japan, India and China.
