A Revolutionary Nano Materials Technology !!

Scientists at Ångstron Materials (a spin-off from Nanotek Instruments, Inc.), with research grants from the US Department of Energy (DOE) and National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Programs, have developed a new class of nano materials now commonly referred to as nano-scaled graphene plates or platelets (NGPs) and NGP nanocomposites (8 US patents issued or pending). The NGPs exhibit attractive properties like carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and carbon nano-fibers (CNFs), but can be readily mass-produced and are available in larger quantities at much lower costs.
