Boston University: Nanometer Scale Engineering

Our research focuses on mechanical and electronic systems at the nanometer length scale. We have state-of-the-art facilities where nanodevices can be fabricated and characterized.

Through measurements of the physical properties of nanodevices, we hope to gain a better understanding of the fundamental physical processes at the nanoscale. The practical aspects of our research involve the design and development of ultra-high speed nano-sensors and Scanning Probe Microscopy techniques.
