We are aiming at developing the theory and experimental method for detection and manipulation of atoms, molecules and nanometer scale particles. We are trying to promote the interdisciplinary study between physics and other research fields such as chemistry, life science, environmental science and engineering etc. Our aim is to make the laboratory as a renowned center for fundamental research as well as an excellent training base for proficient researchers.
