University Affiliated Research Center ( UARC )

The University Affiliated Research Center (UARC), a partnership between UC and NASA Ames was created as a bold initiative designed to increase the safety, effectiveness, and scientific impact of NASA's missions through the infusion of new technologies and research. Under the UARC contract, research tasks have been conducted in the areas of: Aerospace; Earth Sciences; Information Sciences; Advanced Technologies for Human Space Exploration; and Nanotechnology.
